Natural Cork
40% Grenache, 40% Cinsault, 10% Syrah
Almost everything is classical about this delicate yet beguiling Côtes de Provence rosé wine, beginning with its pleasingly pale, inviting salmon-rose colour. It's a blend of Grenache with Cinsault and Syrah. The scents are well-developed, bringing all of the wine's peachy freshness to the fore; beneath that fruit is a wealth of creamy richness and some soft pounded white almond. On the palate, the wine is (as the nose suggested) a perfect blend of gentle fruit, cream and tender almond paste. Low, ripe acidity supports the fruit perfectly, making for a Provence rosé with all of the style's distinctive (and occasionally treacherous!) drinkability. Great rosé is the art of understatement: pick out all the details here. DRINK 2018-2019
